Privacy Policy

How Pulse collects, uses, and protects the personal data of account holders and message recipients.

1. Data we hold about you

When you create a Pulse account we collect your name, email address, password (hashed), and any sender profile details you supply — typically your business name, registered address, and contact information.

2. Message data

Pulse processes the numbers, sender IDs, and contents of messages you send or receive via the platform. Message bodies are retained for delivery and reconciliation purposes and are purged on the retention schedule documented in your team settings.

3. Why we process data

We process personal data to provide the service, to meet our regulatory obligations under PECR and Ofcom rules, to bill usage, and to investigate incidents such as fraud or abuse.

4. Third parties

Messages are carried by our upstream carrier partner and by UK mobile networks. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not sell personal data.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or erase personal data we hold about you under UK GDPR. Email privacy requests to the contact address on your team's billing page.

6. Security

Pulse stores credentials hashed, signs API requests, and encrypts data in transit. We run regular backups and restrict internal access on a need-to-know basis.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to your team's billing contact.
